On Screen
What is it about cooking on TV? Accomplished cooks and couch potatoes alike just can't get enough of it. Alas, TV chefs are the butt of many a joke, but let's face it, TV is a great communicator.
In the UK, I appear regularly on "SATURDAY KITCHEN" (BBC2) and "GREAT FOOD LIVE" (UKTV Food).
My 25-part series, which I wrote and presented myself, was called "VEGGING OUT" and involved me sourcing fabulous ingredients around London, bringing them back to a studio kitchen, and whipping up some nosh with a small audience. It was broadcast on TASTE in 2001 / 2002 and is currently being aired on international satellite channels. I have also appeared numerous times on Canadian TV during 2 recent book tours, including the Vicki Gabereau Show (CTV).
